Personal: Married to Margaret Hollister for 24 years. Two children: Charlie, an environmental engineering major at the United States Military Academy at West Point and a varsity lacrosse player and  Jeannie, a freshman at Colgate University and a member of the cross country and track teams. Both children are graduates of Canandaigua Academy.  24 year resident of the Town of Canandaigua. Graduated from Alfred University with a B.A. in liberal arts.

Experience: Over 30 years sales experience working for Fortune 500 Companies in the pharmaceutical sector with a diversity of responsibilites including: budgeting, meeting planning, facilitating large group meetings, product promotion and promoting complex pharmaceutical products to health care specialists in the medical/surgical sector, effectively blending clinical knowledge with strong consultative skills, customer focused and proficient at assessing customer needs and market demands. Currently is a insurance agent with Bankers Conseco specializing in senior life and health. Active supporter of Canandaigua youth lacrosse, member of Girls Lacrosse Booster Club and Girls Cross Country and Track Booster Club, a member of the First Congregational Church , the Canandaigua Scientific Association. Past affiliations include: Granger Homestead, Clark Manor House and several school district task forces and search committees. Owner of a working farm. A 2007 recipient of the Carnegie Medal for Heroism.
