Jeff Weaver is the current technical specialist for the departments of physical education and athletics at Finger Lakes. He has held this title since 2007.
Weaver is responsible for the supervision and maintenance of these departments’ facilities on a day-to-day basis. He assists the needs of instructors and coaches within these departments and serves as an academic advisor to students all while overseeing all intramural and recreational activities.
In addition, he serves as the work study coordinator for both departments and acts as a key assistant for all athletics contests, camps, and special events.
Weaver has been employed at Finger Lakes since 2005. Prior to his current stint with the college, he was involved with the men’s basketball program, where he served as the teams’ assistant coach from 2005-10. In 2006, he helped lead the Lakers to their first ever Regional Championship title.
Weaver is a 2002 graduate of SUNY Brockport, where he earned his degree in physical education. While at Brockport, he was a four-year starter on the men’s basketball team. As a member of the Golden Eagles men’s basketball roster, Weaver was part of three postseason playoff runs. He currently stands as Brockport’s all-time leading field goal percentage leader.
Weaver resides in Fairport, NY with his wife Allison and their two children, twins Jordan and Madeline.
