Kristen Schuth is the current Assistant Director of Athletics at FLCC. She was appointed to this position in 2010, bringing with her a variety of related experience in sport administration to the college. Schuth is responsible for assisting in the organization and supervision of the athletics program.

Schuth came to FLCC after a seven-year stint with Genesee Community College (GCC), where she served as the primary Director of Sports Information and Promotions Coordinator. Aside from these positions, she also advised student athletes, was a professor of sport management, and served as the head softball coach during her career at GCC. Schuth maintained these duties from 2004-10 all while monitoring the sports management program. Prior to her time at GCC, she served as an assistant coach for the (SUNY) Brockport State College women’s basketball team. As an assistant basketball coach at Brockport, she assisted with the recruiting, planning, and fundraising process for the team.

Schuth was a standout two-sport athlete at Brockport, playing on the women’s basketball and softball teams. As a member of the basketball team, Schuth holds the record for most points in a season and is the second leading scorer and rebounder in school history. As a member of the softball team, she posted the lowest Earned Run Average in a season and recorded the most games pitched, most wins, and strikeouts in school history. The All-American is also a Brockport Hall of Fame inductee.

Schuth graduated from Brockport in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She also holds a Master of Science degree (in Sports Management) from California University of Pennsylvania. Schuth currently resides in Spencerport, NY with her husband David and son Gavynn.
