Baseball – Lakers Drop Pair Of Road Games To Erie
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY. – The Finger Lakes Community College Lakers (8-16) dropped a pair of games this afternoon on the road to the Erie Community College Kats by scores of 14-0 (game one) and 10-0 (game two).
In a losing effort in game one, Finger Lakes was held to just one hit. Branden Rhodes (Victor, NY) was the lone Laker to reach base with a hit (double).
In the game two loss, Finger Lakes received one hit each from Justin Stowell (Horseheads, NY), Matt Tyma (Ontario, NY) and Eddie Tagliareni (Mexico, NY).
The Lakers will be back in action on Saturday (4/14) when they take on Onondaga Community College in a home doubleheader. Game one is set to start at 12:00 pm.
