In 2013, Jimmy Habecker concluded his third season as an assistant coach of the baseball program at Finger Lakes Community College.
Habecker, in addition to his position with the baseball team, he serves as the Sports Information Director at Finger Lakes.
Formally, he was the hitting and head coach of the Sherrill Silversmiths, a member of the New York Collegiate Baseball League, as well as a head coach in the Lake Michigan Baseball League. Habecker also recently served as an instructor at the Frozen Ropes Baseball Training Center in Rochester, N.Y.
Habecker, prior to coaching in the college ranks, was an assistant baseball coach at the high school and American Legion levels. At those levels, he coached Penfield High and the Rayson Miller Jr. Legion 17u team. While with Rayson Miller, Habecker assisted the team to its second district league title in club history.
Prior to his baseball coaching days, Habecker played collegiate baseball at Mount Union for four years. He graduated with his Bachelors in Sport Management and recently completed his Masters degree from Canisius College.
