Lakers Fall At Home To Tough Opponent In Delhi

CANANDAIGUA, NY. – The Finger Lakes Community College Lakers (5-11) fell to SUNY Delhi at home on Sunday (1/15) at Putt Moore Court, 74-55.

FLCC had a cast of players score between 7 and 10 points in the loss. Freshman shooting guard Sean Carbonell (Irondequoit) led the Lakers in the scoring department with 10 points while also pulling down 5 rebounds. Freshman shooting guard Trevor Sanders (Shortsville) recorded a season-high 9 points. A pair of sophomores, point guard Tyron Wilcox (Rochester) and forward Cody Sarkis (Greece) poured in 8 points apiece. Freshman point guard Nick Wicks (Webster) added 7 points and 5 rebounds in the losing effort.

FLCC will return to the hardwood this Thursday (1/19) for a home game against Corning Community College. Game time is slated for 8:00 p.m. at Putt Moore Court.
