Lakers Fall On Road At Jefferson

WATERTOWN, NY. – The Finger Lakes Community College Lakers (5-10) fell to Jefferson Community College on the road on Saturday (1/14), 76-61.

Freshman shooting guard Sean Carbonell (Irondequoit) continued his successful play by leading the Lakers in scoring with 17 points while adding 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals in the loss. Freshman point guard Tyron Wilcox (Rochester) and sophomore forward Cody Sarkis (Greece) rounded out the double-digit scoring column for FLCC. Wilcox finished the game with 14 points while Sarkis added 10 of his own. Freshman point guard Nick Wicks (Webster) contributed 7 points and a team-high 5 assists for the Lakers in the losing effort.
