Richard Jones concluded his tenth season as head coach of the Lakers in 2011-12. Over his ten-year coaching stint with Finger Lakes, he has guided the team to nine postseason playoff bids since joining the program in 2002.
Jones led the Lakers to their first ever Men’s Basketball Regional Championship victory in 2006. He was named New York State Junior College Coach of the Year in 2006 and was twice named Mid-State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2011.
Jones coaching experience stretches beyond his career with Finger Lakes. He spent seventeen years coaching four different teams at the high school level in the states of New York and North Carolina.
Jones graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He is also a graduate of Alfred University, where he earned a Master of Arts degree in School Psychology. Jones is currently employed as a School Psychologist with Phelps Clifton Springs Schools (grades 7-12). He resides in Clifton Springs, NY with his wife Louise and their two daughters, Lauren and Haley.

A.J. Raulli concluded his second season as assistant coach of the Lakers in 2011-12. Over his two-year coaching stint at Finger Lakes, he has helped guide Coach Jones and the team to an overall record of 35 wins and 23 losses. Raulli is an experienced basketball coach, having previously served as the head junior varsity basketball coach at Victor High School for thirteen years.
Raulli graduated from Gannon University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He is also a graduate of Nazareth College, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Education. Raulli is currently employed as an elementary special education teacher at Midlakes. He resides in Farmington, NY with his wife Heather and their two children, twin sons Drew and Jake.
