Holiday Lacrosse Clinic Coming to Finger Lakes CC December 26th-28th
CANANDAIGUA – For three consecutive days – starting on the day after Christmas – current Lakers lacrosse head coach Dave Stein along with his assistant coaches and players; will be hosting a series of holiday lacrosse clinic sessions amidst Finger Lakes CC's main gymnasium (located at the Canandaigua campus).
The clinic sessions, which will run from Wednesday, 12/26/12 – Friday, 12/28/12, will offer three days full of great advice for boys (which can participate on all three days) and girls (which can participate on 12/28) in grades 2-12 who are looking for ways to improve their skills on the field.
Each separate day throughout the duration of the sessions will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude at 12:00 p.m. For a fee of just $25 per session, each participant on hand can expect to receive the undivided attention of the entire staff in charge of directing the clinic.
The goal of the staff is to set ways in which the attendees can improve their skills on the field. Here is what attendees can expect to receive during each day of the clinic sessions (note: days one and two of the clinic will be held for boys only whereas day three will be intended for both boys and girls).
On the 26th, the participant will learn the nuances of how to become a better one-on-one player. In this two-hour clinic session, all positions will be covered.
On the following day, each individual in attendance will be taught the important aspects of what goes into becoming an effective shooter – from both the offensive and defensive sides of the field. The coaches will direct their attention towards bettering each contributor's overall shooting abilities.
The final session, taking place on Friday the 28th, will be centered on goaltending. For a pair of hours, the staff will offer specific ways for becoming an improved goalie.
If you are a person who is interested in brushing up their lacrosse skills or are new to the sport and are looking to learn some great tips on what one needs to do to give themselves an edge on the field, then you may want to strongly consider checking out the Finger Lakes CC holiday lacrosse clinic sessions.
