Lakers Fall to Delhi

ONEONTA, NY--The Finger Lakes Community College men's lacrosse team lost to SUNY Delhi by a score of 19-9.

The Lakers had many contributors on offensive with Matt Scharr leading the way with 3 goals and 3 assists. Scharr is currently the NJCAA leader in assists and points. Ralph Taliento had 2 goals and 2 assists, Austin Laine had 2 goals and 1 assist, and Brandon Grace and Corey Grace rounded out the offense with a goal a piece. Jake Sahrle had 10 saves on the day.

The Lakers will finish the regular season on Saturday, April 19th at home vs. Genesee Community College. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Heading into the game the Lakers are at 8-7 overall and are 3-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference.
