Men's Lacrosse Falls to Genesee Community College 21-4

The Finger Lakes Community College men's lacrosse team faced off against the Cougars from Genesee Community College in a Region III contest on Saturday, April 15.  The Lakers were defeated by the Cougars by a score of 21-4 and fell to 4-4 on the season.  

The Lakers were held to just one goal in the first quarter.  Tate Stewart scored three minutes into the game.  He was assisted by Austin Andryshak.  Finger Lakes did not score again until the start of the second half.  Stewart would get his second goal of the game on a man-up opportunity. He was assisted by Andryshak for a second time.

The Lakers scored the only two goals of the final quarter. Andryshak got on the board with 13 minutes remaining.  He was unassisted.  The final Lakers goal came from Stewart, who would pick up his hat-trick, with three minutes remaining.  He was assisted by Zakk Mount.  Josh Zugnoni went 15-26 at faceoff against the Cougars.  Goalie Ethan Lincoln played all 60 minutes in goal for the Lakers, recording 13 saves.  

The Lakers will play at home on Monday, April 17.  They will host the Generals from Herkimer College at 4pm.
