Roberts Wesleyan downs the Lakers in Season Opener
Canandaigua, NY - The Finger Lakes Community College men's soccer team fell to Roberts Wesleyan in its season opener on Saturday, August 27th by a score of 1-0. Roberts Wesleyan scored within the first minute of play. As the Lakers (0-1) settled into the game, they created several quality chances to score. FLCC's best chance to score came in the second half of the game when they took a point blank shot on goal that beat the goalie, but was cleared off just in time before reaching the goal line.
