Men’s Soccer Experiences a Draw, Victory, and Defeat in Trio of Games
Ticonderoga, NY – The Finger Lakes Community College men's soccer team delivered a draw against North Country Community College on Sunday, 1-1. The Lakers (4-9-1) lone goal was scored by Gayang Ayol (Greece). Jake Roth (Greece) was credited with the assist.
Delhi, NY – FLCC notched a 3-1 victory at SUNY Delhi on Saturday. The Lakers offense was highlighted by Parker Weeks (Canandaigua) 2 goal effort. Weeks first goal was assisted by Mike Bernard (Greece) while his second came off of a free kick. Bernard notched FLCC's other goal (free kick), capping off a 1 goal and 1 assist afternoon for the freshman midfielder.
Sanborn, NY – The Lakers fell to Niagara County Community College on Thursday (September 29th), 2-0. FLCC played a competitive game, staying with Niagara for a majority of the game.
FLCC will play its next game this Wednesday at Tompkins Cortland Community College. Game time is slated for 3:00 p.m.
