Ray Siefert concluded his second season as head coach of Finger Lakes in 2012.

Prior to joining Finger Lakes, he coached track and field and cross country at the high school, NJCAA, and Division III levels. Siefert has been an active coach, teacher, and consultant in athletics and fitness for over twenty-five years.

He competed collegiately at (SUNY) Cortland State College in track and field and cross country. During his years of competition at Cortland, he received SUNYAC and All-State awards for his performances as a runner on the track and cross country teams. During his senior year on the cross country team, he was named captain and Most Valuable Player.
