Bio

In 2014, Ray Siefert concluded his fourth season as head coach of the Men and Women’s Track and Field program at Finger Lakes Community College.

Siefert has coached track and field and cross country at the high school, NJCAA, and NCAA Division III levels. A graduate of SUNY Cortland, he has been an active coach, teacher, and consultant in athletics and fitness for over 25 years.

Siefert, during his days at Cortland was a standout runner on the men’s track and field and cross country teams. While at Cortland, as a track and field and cross country runner, he was a recipient of several SUNYAC and All-State awards. As a member of the men's cross country team his senior year, Siefert was named team captain and Most Valuable Player.
