Men’s Cross Country Competes In Highlander Invitational

Houghton, NY – The Finger Lakes Community College men's cross country team competed in the Highlander Invitational on Saturday at Houghton College. The Lakers were led by Mike Pitcher's (Hornell) personal best time of 29:01 in the 8K race. Following Pitcher were running mates Adam Bradley (Marcus Whitman) (30:24) and Dave Herbert (Wayland-Cohocton) (31:15). Joe Ellinger (Clyde-Savannah) (31:34) and Josh Corey (Marcus Whitman) (31:57) rounded out the scoring with personal best times for the Lakers. Jason Woodard (Red Jacket), Brian Richardson (Scottsville), Nick Pruden (Canandaigua), Chris Lorenzi (Beacon) and Joel Rozario (Manhattan) each showed significant improvement while posting personal best times for FLCC.

The Lakers next meet will take place on Saturday, October 8th at Nazareth College. Race time is set for 11:00 a.m.
