Jordan Merritt Earns National Runner of the Week Honors

Canandaigua – Jordan Merritt (Penn Yan), a member of the Finger Lakes Community College men's cross country team, has been selected by NJCAA Division III Region III coaches as Runner of the Week. Merritt won the Bruce Bridgman Invitational on Saturday, September 17th, posting a time of 28:22 in the 8K race. He finished 27 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor. Merritt looks to continue his running success this Saturday as he and his Lakers teammates participate in their next meet at Houghton College. The meet is set to get underway at 12:00 p.m.
