Collins Wins Back-to-Back Races

HOUGHTON, NY -- Chuck Collins won his second straight race on Saturday at the Houghton Highlander Invitational. He completed the 8K course in 26:43.26. The Finger Lakes Men's team finished in 6th place in a race predominantly filled with four year schools.

The Lakers Men's team followed Collins starting when Adam Morrison crossed the line in 33rd place with a time of 31:36.75. Colin Delgado crossed close to Morrison at 32:11.05. Tim Quirk finished in 43rd place with a time of 35:25.37 and Adam Thorman rounded it out at 44:09.31. All the Lakers runners posted new season best times at the 8K distance. 

The Lakers will head to Roberts Wesleyan next weekend to run in the Harry Anderson Invitational. The Men's race will start at noon.
