OBERLIN, OH -- The Finger Lakes Cross Country team participated in the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble this past weekend. The Lakers ran in the Open 8K, so there was no team scoring. The race consisted of four year schools that stretched from New York to Wisconsin.
Chuck Collins was the top finisher for Finger Lakes. He finished 21st with a time of 27:46.4. Adam Morrison had his best race as a Laker and set a new personal best with a time of 32:00.3. Max Curren was third amongst the team crossing the finish line at 33:37.1. Tim Quirk (34:05.8) and Colin Delgado (35:55.3) were the next Lakers to finish. Adam Thorman rounded out the team with a new personal best time of 41:26.8.
The Region III Championship meet now awaits Finger Lakes. The Lakers will enter the meet after running some of their best races of the season. Every Finger Lakes runner has set a new personal best time over the past three weeks. The Championship meet will be hosted by SUNY Delhi on Saturday, October 25.
