CANANDAIGUA -- The Finger Lakes Men's Cross Country team ran in the NJCAA Division III Cross Country National Championship on their home course on Saturday. The Lakers finished 14th in the team competition.
Chuck Collins took and early lead in the race, but a nagging injury dropped him back. Collins crossed the finish line in 11th place. He earned All-American for his finish and ran the course in 29:00.9. Colin Delgado was next to cross in 34:09.3. Adam Morrison was a few places behind him in 86th with a time of 34:21.3. Max Curran and Tim Quirk rounded out the team scoring. They crossed in 34:47.4 and 36:52.7. Adam Thorman did not factor into the team scoring, but he ran a seasons-best race with the time of 38:59.8.
