Jake Bailey was the second Laker in at 31:45.1 finishing in 53rd place and an improvement of over three minutes and 30 seconds.
Austin Batson finished in 89th place in 33:19.1 improving his time by over two minutes. Dakota Cox was the 5th Laker to cross the line in 119th place, in a time of 35:14.6 running more than 11 minutes faster than his time during the Bruce Bridgman Invitational in September. Jesse Smith was the 6th place runner finishing his race in 36:42.9 in 136th place overall, improving by more than nine minutes on his time from earlier this season.
"The team did an outstanding job as each runner improved dramatically from the start of the season," said Head Coach Scott Williams. "I knew if we could get some consistent running in each week, they would improve steadily. Cross country running is a tough game and it takes daily running and training, seven days a week. These men did that without hesitation and I really enjoyed watching them grow together as a team of student athletes. I Hope to see as many as possible out for the track team this spring!"
