Jefferson & Herkimer Top FLCC In Softball

Softball Highlights - April 11, 2011

FLCC Softball played a pair of doubleheaders over the weekend. The Lakers (3-16) lost both games on Saturday to Herkimer CC (ranked 8th nationally) 12-1 and 8-0. Sarah List (DeSales) led FLCC's offense with 2 hits in game 1. The pitching staff scattered 7 hits. In game 2, the Lakers were led by Sarah Roza (Greece Arcadia) with 2 hits. The team traveled to Jefferson CC on Sunday losing 10-2 and 5-3. Shealena Marnell (Moravia) had 2 hits in game 1. In game 2, Kayla Kline (Mynderse) and Anna Liberatore (DeSales) led the Lakers with 2 hits and 2 RBI each. Brandy Earl (Oswego) added an RBI triple. FLCC plays its next game on Tuesday April 12th at home against Genesee CC at 3:00 PM.
