Softball – Lady Lakers Drop Pair Of Road Games To Herkimer

HERKIMER, NY. – The Finger Lakes Community College Lady Lakers dropped a pair of games this afternoon in a road doubleheader against the Herkimer County Community College Lady Generals by scores of 14-1 (game one) and 18-1 (game two).

In the game one loss, the Lady Lakers received one hit each from Jeri Baker (Harrisville, NY), Sarah Roza (Rochester, NY), Cassidy Smyers (Wellsville, NY) and Emily Essom (Fairport, NY). Baker's lone hit was a solo home run.

In the game two loss, Finger Lakes received one hit each from Baker, Essom, and Amalia Dolley (Horseheads, NY). Baker scored the Lady Lakers lone run.

Finger Lakes will be back in action on Tuesday (4/10) when they travel to Genesee Community College for an afternoon doubleheader. Game one is scheduled to get underway at 3:00 pm.
