Lady Lakers Set to Host Genesee CC on Tuesday at Home

CANANDAIGUA -- The Lady Lakers will play on their own campus tomorrow as they are scheduled to host Genesee CC in an afternoon doubleheader. Finger Lakes CC, currently 2-10, will begin play with the Lady Cougars (5-10) at 3 pm.

The Lady Lakers will enter Tuesday's games coming off of a pair of conference road losses to Broome CC on Sunday. Genesee last played on Saturday in a home doubleheader against Jamestown CC-Cattaraugus. It split its two games with JCC-C. The Lady Cougars fell in game one 7-6 before winning game two 13-12.

Both teams met three times during the 2012 softball season with Genesee taking all three contests. On Mar. 15, Finger Lakes fell to GCC 8-0 down in Myrtle Beach, SC. The two would later meet again for a pair of games on Apr. 10 on the Lady Cougars diamond. GCC, on that day, would notch victories by the scores of 18-17 and 7-5.
