The Lakers Softball Gets Swept by The Thunder Wolves

Canandaigua, NY - The Finger Lakes Community College women's softball team hosted a double-header against the Niagara County Community College Thunder Wolves on Tuesday, April 11. The Lady Lakers fell to the Thunder Wolves 6-1 the first game and 12-0 the second.

During the first match up Jenna Pedro went 1-for-3 with one run batted in. Jenna Theilen and Michaela Anderson both went 1-for-3 from the plate. Anna Dickens pitched seven innings for the Lakers. She faced 37 batters with four strike-outs, allowing six earned runs.

The Thunder Wolves held the Lakers scoreless during the second game, which ended in the fifth inning by a mercy rule. Jenna Pedro went 1-for-3, while Michaela Anderson would go 1-for-2. The second baseman, Anna Dickens went 1-for-2 from the plate. Jessica Williams faced 28 batters with one strike-out from the mound.

The Lakers will host the Twins from Columbia-Greene Community College on Friday, April 14 in a double-header match up.
