Lady Lakers Winning Streak Reaches Three Games
The Finger Lakes Community College Lady Lakers (13-10) won their third consecutive game in a row today, taking down Jefferson Community College at home, 85-55. Today's win for the Lady Lakers was highlighted by freshman shooting guard Kelli McCauley (Irondequoit, NY) and her game-high 32 points. On the afternoon, she shot 12-22 from the field and 5-8 from beyond the arc. McCauley also handed out 7 assists while recording 3 steals.
Freshman forward Britany Monpere (Palmyra, NY) had her best game of the 2011-12 season thus far as a Lady Laker, scoring 20 points and pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds.
Sophomore guard Cassandra Strait (Dundee, NY) turned in a solid all around game today for FLCC. She finished the game with 19 points, 7 assists (game-high), 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.
Freshman forward Jordan Smith (Lyons, NY) added 10 rebounds and 4 steals for the Lady Lakers.
Sarah Maxon paced Jefferson with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots.
