Lady Lakers Land Five Seed in this Year’s Women’s Hoops Regionals

CANANDAIGUA – The Lady Lakers are set to play in this year's 2012-13 women's basketball Region III Tournament. Finger Lakes, after putting together an 18-12 record between its regular season and MSAC Tournament schedule, will enter play seeded fifth. In the quarter-finals, set to take place this Friday (3/1), the Lady Lakers will take on #4 Fulton-Montgomery CC beginning at 3:00 p.m. The winner of the contest will advance onto the semi-final round, where they will take on the winner of the #1 Mohawk Valley CC vs. #8 Tompkins Cortland CC/#9 Schenectady County CC game. The host site of this year's regionals will be Mohawk Valley CC.
