Strait Named Second Team All-American

CANANDAIGUA – Former Lady Lakers shooting guard Casi Strait has been named Second Team All-American. In her sophomore year in 2012-13, the Dundee, NY native was eighth in the nation with her 19.7 points per game scoring average. Her 611 total points, which she accrued over 31 games, ranked second nationally. Strait's scoring average consisted of her shooting 40 percent from the field. In addition to her shooting, she was third in the nation in free throw percentage as she shot 84 percent from the charity stripe. Furthermore, the offensive guru averaged 2.7 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game.
