Women's Basketball Wins Fifth in a Row

Canandaigua, NY -- The Finger Lakes Community College women's basketball team won their third consecutive game after defeating the Timberwolves from SUNY Adirondack Community College on Sunday, December 4.  

The Lakers shooting was on point in Sunday's contest, as they shot 43.5% from the floor and finished 10-19 from downtown. They outscored their opponent in every quarter, defeating the Timberwolves by a final score of 78-58.

Sophomore Krystal Hunter led the charge for the Lakers, finishing with 25 points. Ranaveya Richards came off the bench to score 21 points and five assists for the Lakers.  Megan Howell contributed 14 points.  Janae Brannon finished with 13 rebounds and 11 assists, both leading the Lakers.  

The Lakers will travel to Tompkins Cortland Community College to face the Panthers on Tuesday, December 4 in their first Mid-State Athletic Conference mmatch-up of the season.  Tipoff is set for 5pm.
