The Lady Lakers Place Second at Conference Championship
The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Basketball team was defeated by the Lazers from Onondaga Community College on Sunday, February 26. The final score, 65-58, would give the Lady Lakers second place in the Conference Tournament.

The Lady Lakers led the Lazers the entire game, until Onondaga tied up the score, 41-41, with 33 seconds left in the third quarter. From that moment on, the Lazers would take the lead and keep it.

Ranaveya Richards led the Lakers with 20 points and six rebounds, sinking nine of her points in the final quarter. Megan Howell added 12 points and six rebounds. Krystal Hunter finished with nine points, two rebounds, and two steals for the Lady Lakers.

The Lady Lakers will enter the NJCAA Region III Tournament as the third seed. They will host the sixth seeded Timberwolves from SUNY Adirondack in the Quarterfinal Round on Tuesday, February 28. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00pm on Putt Moore Court.
