FLCC Women's Soccer Defeats Onondaga Community College in Season Opener

Syracuse, NY - The Finger Lakes Community College women's soccer team defeated Onondaga Community College 3-1 on Tuesday, taking the season opener on the road in Syracuse, NY. The Lady Lakers received goals from Sarah Murphy (Webster), Hannah Dalle (Rochester), and Cayli Carmona (Rochester). Murphy, Rebecca Giacapuzzi (Merrimack, NH), and Colby Henderson (Canandaigua) added 1 assist each for FLCC. Kristy Kirkpatrick (Irondequoit) anchored the net for the Lady Lakers, accumulating 3 saves while playing all 90 minutes of the game. FLCC (1-0) will play its next game on Thursday at Fulton-Montgomery Community College. The game is slated to begin at 5:00 p.m.
