Women’s Soccer Continues to shine in win at Clinton
Plattsburgh, NY – Finger Lakes Community College women's soccer was back in action on Saturday at Clinton Community College. The Lady Lakers (8-0-1) shined on both ends of the field, winning 4-1. FLCC's Colby Henderson (Canandaigua) notched her 11th and 12th goals of the season while Rebecca Giacapuzzi (Merrimack, NH) and Cayli Carmona (Rochester) each added one goal apiece. Carmona also assisted on 2 goals while Paige Smith (Honeoye Falls) and Morgan Wehrle (Rochester) added 1 assist each. Kristy Kirkpatrick (Irondequoit) and Julie Brooks (Holley) both tended goal for the Lady Lakers, playing one half each in the win.
Canandaigua – In prior news, FLCC battled Herkimer Community College to a 3-3 tie on Thursday at home. The Lady Lakers received individual goals from Henderson, Carmona, and Smith.
FLCC is back in action on Tuesday (September 27th) at home against Genesee Community College. Game time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
