Women’s Soccer – FLCC Takes Down Jamestown CC on Road, 3-1

JAMESTOWN, NY. – The Lady Lakers took down Jamestown CC on the road this past Saturday (10/6) – 3-1. Facing a quality opponent in the Lady Jayhawks, Finger Lakes (13-0-1, 3-0 MSAC) had to earn its 13th victory of the season as Jamestown put forth a solid effort on the pitch all afternoon long. In the win, the Lady Lakers received one goal each out of Sonia Gucciardo, Hannah Dalle, and Rebecca Giacapuzzi.

In addition to her goal, Dalle added a pair of assists in the mid-day matchup. She finished the game with 4 points. Cayli Carmona also contributed in Finger Lakes offense by handing out an assist.

Lady Lakers keeper Kristy Kirkpatrick piled up 5 saves in the 90-minute contest. Overall, Finger Lakes outshot Jamestown, 17-6.
