Hornets Too Much For Season Opener

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Soccer team kicked off their 2018-2019 season yesterday against the SUNY Broome Hornets. The Lakers found the Hornets to be too much, and lost 8-0.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Alexis Gossage with two shots, Goal Keeper, Alexa Salatel, with 12 saves, and other Goal Keeper, Melanie Gleason, with 11 saves.

The Lakers will compete again in the Tompkins Cortland Community College Tournament this coming weekend. There they will play Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday, and Holyoke Commuity College on Sunday.
