FLCC Women's Volleyball falls to Tompkins Cortland CC in Opener

Canandaigua - The Finger Lakes Community College women's volleyball team lost its season opening match on Sunday against Tompkins Cortland Community College at home in 4 games; 25-22, 24-26, 23-25, and 27-29. The Lady Lakers were highlighted by Jordan Smith (Lyons), who recorded 3 blocks, 2 aces, and 5 kills. Jessica Granger (Letchworth), 10 digs, 7 kills and Alysha LaDuke (Livonia), 18 digs, 21 kills, added great showings in the opener for FLCC. Annie Degnan (Spencerport) combined for 31 assists in 4 games on Sunday for the Lady Lakers. FLCC will play its next match this Saturday, September 3rd, at Jefferson Community College. The match is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m.
