Lady Lakers Down Hornets

Canandaigua – The Finger Lakes Community College women's volleyball team defeated Broome Community College on Wednesday at home in 4 games, 21-25, 25-7, 25-21, and 25-21. The Lady Lakers (17-8) were led by Jessica Granger's (Letchworth) 39 assists and Alysha LaDuke's (Livonia) 17 kills and 14 digs in the win. Taylor Ryan (Victor) added a rounded performance for FLCC with 12 kills, 10 digs, 4 blocks, and 2 aces. Jordan Smith (Lyons), 11 kills, and Christina Denniston (Newark), 10 digs, both contributed in the victory.

The Lady Lakers will be back in action this Friday in a tournament at Onondaga Community College. There first match is to set to get underway at 3:00 p.m.
