As a transfer from Keuka College: The keeper brings a year of playing experience with him at the collegiate level to the Lakers roster. More importantly, Bly brings with him the readiness to step in and be a force in the net immediately. The 6’ tender earned one of the two captain’s roles in 2012 largely due to the potent presence that he brings to the position on a day-to-day basis. The sophomore has the length and capability to plug the net with his arms and legs. His reactionary time inside the box is labeled as extremely fast. Bly’s hand eye coordination is labeled as stellar. His game IQ is labeled as brilliant. The list of positives that this transfer brings with him to Finger Lakes equals too many to list. With a huge upside, Bly promises to see a hefty dosage of playing time in the 2012 season. He is currently majoring in business administration.
