Softball - Lady Lakers Fall To Delaware Tech
MYRTLE BEACH, SC. – The Finger Lakes Community College Lady Lakers fell to Delaware Technical and Community College (of Georgetown, Delaware) this afternoon in game two of their Myrtle Beach spring break trip by a score of 9-2.
The Lady Lakers were highlighted by the bat of sophomore utility player Shealena Marnell (Moravia, NY) in the losing effort. On the afternoon, she went a perfect 2 for 2 from the plate.
Both of Finger Lakes runs were driven in by freshman shortstop Chelsie Travis (Penn Yan, NY). Travis finished the day by going 1 for 3 from the plate.
The Lady Lakers are back in action today for a pair of games in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. At 9:30 am, they will take on Alfred State College. At 11:30 am, Finger Lakes will play Herkimer County Community College.
