As a guard for the Lady Lakers in 2011-12: McCauley ranked 25th in the nation in scoring – averaging 16 points per game. In addition to her scoring, the now sophomore averaged 3.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game her freshman year. Furthermore, McCauley notched 61 steals in the 29 games that she played in last season. Her steals per game average stood at 2.1 per game in 2011-12. A vital part of her offensive game came from beyond the three-point line a year ago – where she made good on 70 baskets. Labeled a rising offensive threat with excellent shooting skills, McCauley gives Finger Lakes a bona fide scorer of the basketball in 2012-13. With one successful season under her belt already at the collegiate level, this Irondequoit, NY native is poised and ready to soar to great feats this year. Factored in to be a large part of the Lady Lakers offense, expect to see her numbers spike in her second year with the team – both offensively and defensively.
