High School: She was a 3-sport athlete, one who played on the women’s soccer, basketball, and softball teams. Granted the Scholar Athlete and Good Character awards upon the conclusion of her high school athletic playing career at Naples, this freshman comes into Lady Laker territory with a great deal of upside. Her offensive production on the soccer squad at Naples can be highlighted in the “very good” category. She served as a menace to opposing team’s defenders as she displayed a unique ability to carve up whoever was matched up against her. Maynard was extremely shifty in the open field – meaning she could accelerate her wheels at various paces almost at will. Her capabilities for Finger Lakes 2012 roster stand high. If she brings the level of play that followed her throughout high school into her first year with the Lady Lakers, expect to see a great return on investment with this addition to the team.
