High School: The defender was a 2-sport athlete during her days at Williamson, where she played on the women’s soccer and softball teams. At Williamson, she was greatly noted for her outstanding play on the soccer field, where she was able to play a combination of positions, both as a defender and midfielder. Stritzel was a significant piece to Williamson’s women’s soccer roster. Her production on both ends of the pitch earned her several All-Star team selections, which included a spot on the European Select All-Star team her sophomore year. Her elusiveness and versatility gave her the title as a tough person to plan for by the opposition throughout her high school playing career. If she brings a hint of the ability that she displayed in high school to the Lady Lakers roster, she could pan out to be a solid player in the college ranks. The freshman is currently majoring in natural resource conservation law enforcement.
