Lakers Win 3rd Straight

AUBURN, NY -- Danielle VonHahmann scored three goals to lead the Lakers to a 13-0 victory over Cayuga Community College in Women's Soccer action. They improved to 9-3 on season and 5-0 on the season.

The offensive explosion by the Lakers marks the second highest scoring output in school history (16 vs. SUNY Adironack, 1997). Joining VonHahmann with multiple goals was Jessa Blondell and Brittany Maggio. For Maggio, it was her 20th and 21st goals of the season, which puts atop the NJCAA leaders for goals. Genesis Alvarado and Amanda Schwartz both had a goal and two assists for Finger Lakes. Rounding out the scoring was Kailey Reddick (1 goal), Brittani Bove (1 assist), Alicia Mink (1 goal, 1 assist), and McKenzie Miller (1 goal). Danielle Ogrodowski was in net for her 6th shutout in a row, and third straight. Overall, Ogrodowski has not allowed a goal in the last 285 minutes of play.

The Lakers return home on Wednesday for a Mid-State Athletic Conference matchup with Jefferson Community College. Kickoff with the Cannoneers is scheduled for 4pm.
