As a former three-sport athlete and Citizenship Award winner in high school at Queensbury: Moon was a member of the football, men’s basketball, and lacrosse teams. During his playing days on the lacrosse team at Queensbury, Moon played on both the offensive and defensive ends of the field. His talent as an athlete goes far beyond the playing surface. At Queensbury, he was recognized as a good student and citizen. Moon was the recipient of the Good Citizenship Award in 2011. He was noted for being a character guy who resembled excellence in the classroom as well as in the community. His well-rounded character will be gratefully welcomed inside the Lakers organization in 2012. Expect Moon to fit in with the Lakers and at the same time be able to make a smooth transition to playing at the collegiate level. The freshman is currently majoring in physical education studies.
