Men’s Lax Game Scheduled for Wednesday has been moved to Thursday

CANANDAIGUA, NY. – Tomorrow's expected Mid-State Athletic Conference opener for the Lakers has been moved to another date. Finger Lakes, slated to take on Tompkins Cortland CC on the road at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, will now faceoff with TC3 this Thursday instead. The game, which will signal the season and MSAC opener for the Panthers, will still get underway at 4 p.m.

Word has been received by the Finger Lakes athletics staff that the field is not in prime condition for tomorrow's originally scheduled game. Due to a layering of snow on the playing surface, this game has been bumped. With temperatures forecasted to hit the upper 30's on Wednesday and Thursday in Dryden, NY (home of the Panthers), TC3's Director of Athletics Mick McDaniel believes, "We should get some good melt between now (Tuesday) and then (Thursday) with temps expected to reach the upper 30's."
