Lakers Look to Extend Win Streak to Five Games this Weekend

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. -- After playing two consecutive road games, the Finger Lakes Community College men's lacrosse team will return home to Laker Lacrosse Field this weekend. The Lakers are set to host Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday at 1p.m.

Finger Lakes Community College (6-6, 2-1) carries a four-game win streak into tomorrow afternoon's contest. Throughout the win streak, the Lakers have outscored opponents by an average of 13.8 goals per game. Jack Timerson has led the Lakers offensively with 33 points over the stretch on 23 goals and 10 assists.

On the season, Timerson leads the Lakers with 48 goals and 66 points. Robert Pelkey ranks second on the team with 38 goals and 52 points. Sophomore Parker Weeks paces the team with 29 assists. Sophomore John Perrucci has earned all six of the Lakers' victories, while sporting a .586 save percentage and 13.19 goals against average.

Hudson Valley Community College totes a 2-2 record on the season. Freshman midfielder Bryce Sinisgalli leads the team in scoring with 10 goals. Paul Bennett has scored eight goals, and leads the team with both five assists and 13 points. Andrew Reilly has played every minute in goal for Hudson Valley Community College, recording a .703 save percentage and 11.00 goals against average.
