Lacrosse Game at MCC Suspended Due to Lightning

ROCHESTER, NY. –  Trailing 4-2 with 9:05 left in the second quarter of today's lacrosse game at No.9 Monroe CC, the Lakers will have to sit on their five-game winning streak as lightning caused the contest to be put on hold. A makeup date for the continuation of the game is in the works, but has yet to be announced. So far in the first 20:55, Finger Lakes has received goals from Jake Smith and Jack Timerson. The goal for Timerson was his 56th of the season. Smith's goal was unassisted while Timerson's was set up by Robert Pelkey. In net, John Perrucci has recorded eight saves thus far.
