Five Lakers Named to MSAC All-Conference Team
WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- The individual accolades for the Finger Lakes Community College men's lacrosse team continue to mount, as five Lakers were appointed to the MSAC All-Conference Team on Monday. Jack Timerson, Parker Weeks, Robert Pelkey, John Perrucci, and Jake Smith were named to the team.
Timerson contributed a career-high 82 goals and 123 points this season. On the season, the Newark, N.Y. native scorched conference opponents for 41 points on 23 goals and 18 assists.
Weeks recorded a career-high 48 assists this season; a mark that also broke the Finger Lakes Community College men's lacrosse individual season record. The Canandaigua, N.Y. native also scored 26 goals.
On the season, Pelkey scored 91 points on 66 goals and 25 assists. The Fairport, N.Y. native recorded 30 points within conference play on 21 goals and nine assists.
Perrucci led the NJCAA with 304 saves this season. The Myrtle Beach, S.C. native also anchored the Lakers to a program-best four MSAC victories.
Smith contributed a team-high 81 ground balls. The freshman caused seven turnovers this season.
Albert Thompson, Kyle Grove, and Brandon Grace received honorable mentions.
