Men’s Soccer – FLCC to Host First Round Home Regional Playoff Game

CANANDAIGUA – The Lakers, who finished the regular season on a strong note, having gone 5-0-2 in their final seven games, will host a home playoff game in the first round of the 2012 NJCAA Regionals (Region III Division III) this Saturday (10/20). Finger Lakes, who turned in a 9-9-3 (3-2-1 MSAC) regular season record in 2012, will take on Erie CC at 1:30 p.m. that afternoon. Erie will travel to FLCC's campus supporting a 10-5 record. The Lakers will enter the game donning an eight seed while the Kats will enter it carrying a nine seed next to their name. The winner will advance into round two of the regionals, where they will take on #1 seed Genesee CC. That game will take place on the confines of Genesee CC and is scheduled for next Tuesday (10/23). The time of that matchup is to be announced.
