FLCC Loses Two To ECC

Softball Highlights - April 21 - 22

FLCC softball lost a pair of games on Thursday to Erie CC by scores of 6-0 and 9-1. Shelby Marra (Spencerport) pitched a combined 9 innings in both games, allowing 6 runs on 10 hits for the Lakers (3-23).

On Friday FLCC dropped a close game to Jamestown CC by a score of 4-3. Kayla Kline (Mynderse) had 2 hits and 2 RBI for the Lakers. Anna Liberatore (DeSales) also had 2 hits for FLCC. Marra turned in a quality start on the mound by allowing 1 earned run on 7 hits. The Lakers were supposed to play a second game against JCC, but it was cancelled due to rain.

FLCC plays its next set of games today (April 26th) against Hudson Valley CC at home. The game is scheduled for 1:00 PM. The Lakers will also be action tomorrow at home against Corning CC at 3:00 PM.
