Softball Gets First Win

The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Softball team split a double header in Cocoa Beach, FL on Monday afternoon.  The Lakers beat Lackawanna CC with a score of 4-2.  Shelby Marra (Spencerport) pitched a complete game allowing just 5 hits and 1 earned run.  Leading the Lakers on offense were Santina Gentile (Lansing) who had 2 hits and Sara List (DeSales) who drove in 2 runs.  In the nightcap Brandy Earl (Oswego) had 2 hits, 4 RBI's and a Home Run in a 12-4 loss to Waubonsee CC.  Kayla Kline (Mynderse) pitched well with a lack of defensive support.  FLCC plays Lakeland CC and Gadden St. on Tuesday.
