FLCC Softball Splits With Broome

Softball Highlights - April 2, 2011

Game 1:  FLCC: 7     Broome: 5
Game 2: Broome: 11     FLCC: 3

The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Softball split a doubleheader at Broome Community College on Sunday.  Shelby Marra(Spencerport) allowed 6 hits and Christina Evangelista(Geneva) got the save in the 7-5 win in the first game. Sarah Roza(Greece Arcardia) led the Lakers with two clutch RBI's while Sara List(DeSales) had 2 hits.  In the nightcap the Lakers lost 11-3 allowing 7 runs in the last inning on 10 hits.  Evangelista pitched the first 4 innings allowing 3 runs.  Brandy Earl(Oswego) went 1 for 1 and Shea Marnell(Moravia) had 2 hits and 2 RBI's anlong with Katy Alaimo(Geneva) collecting a clutch RBI.  FLCC did not play due to wet fields on Thursday(MCC) and Saturday(Jamestown) both games will be made up later this month.  The Lakers host thee Elmira JV;'s on Thursday and travel to Onondaga CC on Thursday
